Deborah Rowe Johnson
Artist Bio
Deborah received Jesus as her Lord and Savior in 1977, at 12 years of age, but did not have an intimate relationship with Him until 2006, at 41 years of age. As she entered into a more intimate relationship with God, she began to receive His wisdom, discernment, creative power, and knowledge of the Word in a much greater magnitude, and the Lord directed her to start a new career.
She received confirmation to move into this new life path from her Mother, Janice Rowe, saying, “Debbie, you are supposed to spread light through paintings, and your business shall be called God’s Reflections.” And, so it began, in 2006, Deborah finished her first painting, ”Christ the Savior” John 3:16.
Deborah Rowe Johnson is a contemporary, spiritual artist who founded God’s Reflections, Inc. to reflect the Light of Christ through art. She is a Southwest Texas State University graduate and began God’s Reflections in 2006 after her mother encouraged her “…to bring Heaven to Earth through painting.” Her spiritual gifts are revealed in her art, and her paintings bring the mysteries of God and Heaven to life on earth.
Deborah spent over fifteen years in the public education system, teaching all levels in physical education, art, and special education. Teaching children gifted Deborah in newfound creativity and expression via art. Her experiences in life and faith are reflected in her abstract paintings.
